Minister of Joy

Wherever Jesus went, there was joy.

Joy was a common result of Jesus' minstry.

Everything Jesus did for those who needed Him resulted in joy.

His words of life brought joy.

His healings of the sick, lame, blind, demon possessed, brought joy.

Those who were lame now jump up and down, walk to and fro, run here and there, experiencing the wonder of their two new feet.

The blind now looked up and down, far and near, absorbing the colourful sights all around them through their two new eyes.

The demon possessed now filled with the Spirit freed to choose to do the will of their Deliverer.

Sorrow turned to joy, mourning turned to dancing.

Let this mark of Jesus' ministry be a plumbline for our service in God's Kingdom.
