God's Binary Reward Scheme
- The Senior Pastor will receive the same reward as the first-time usher.
- The Prime Minister will receive the same reward as the garbage collector.
- The master will receive the same reward as the maid.
All in God's Kingdom will receive a fair reward, regardless of their title or position, their ability or inability, their decades or seconds old faith. Such is the mystery of God's Kingdom as Jesus taught in Matthew 20:1-16. Therefore, whatever you do, in whatever capacity God has given and made you, serve Him faithfully.
- If the Lord has gifted you to do more, then do as much as you are able. Then you will be given more to do in line with His giftings.
- If you have been gifted to do little, then do as much as you are able. Then you will be given more to do in line with His giftings.
Everyone who serves God, regardless of capacity and ability, is faithful. If you are found faithful, the you will be rewarded. If you are found faithless, the you will not be rewarded. This is what I call "God's Binary Reward Scheme". Either you are rewarded, or you are not. That's fair enough for me. Even if the Lord chooses to reward us (or not!) using a sliding scale, He will still be fair. For He knows best. He's God and it's HIS Kingdom and it's HIS right to reward as HE sees fit. And I'm not going to argue about that!
